WSYM Update | April 17, 2017

Hey WSYMers!

What a weekend?!? A big thank you goes out to Dillon Rabb for filling in to teach class on Sunday! I've heard it went well and the Easter service was a powerful one. We were sad to miss Easter morning at West Side. My family and I were witnessing the marriage of one of my cousins down in Dallas. It was a beautiful wedding but the weekend wasn't without it's hiccups. I would like to ask for your prayers for my Grandmother (89). At the hotel during the trip, she fell and broke 3 of her ribs and her pelvis. She'll be in Dallas until she is able to be transported back to Arkansas where she has to undergo physical therapy. Please pray for healing and comfort for her. Thanks everybody! 

I've got a few reminders for you all about WSYM activities coming up. Please click the links to find out more about each event. 

• Senior Sunday is May 7. This will be a time of encouragement, blessing, and fellowship in honor of our 9 seniors.
• Counseling at Day Camp (June 5 - 9) is an amazing opportunity for our teens to minister and serve. 
• Impact is June 19-24. Impact is a summer event at Lipscomb University designed to provide an atmosphere for teens that enables the development of a personal faith, which will impact their world for Christ. Impact is HUGELY fun and a highlight of the WSYM Summer calendar! 
• Junior Week 2 is June 25-29 and is for our current 6th graders. We are giving our 6th graders a $75 discount to Junior Week 2 (formerly Junior Livingstones). Use the promo code 75JWWS to receive the discount! Let me know if you have any questions!
• Teen Week is July 9-15. Teen Week is our outdoorsy camp week at Camp Caudle. It is for teens who have just finished 7th grade all the way through HS graduates. This summer the week will be pack with loads of fun (jumping off the rock, team activities, raucous fun time, and so much more)! Come join the fun!!
