IMPACT kicked off last night with a few technical difficulties, but it was worth the wait. They did an excellent job of taking everyone down memory lane and bringing in this year's theme.
The theme this year is "TV31" as in 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs. Jeff Walling's talk was a great introduction to Biblical wisdom.
Virtual IMPACT isn't easy to navigate as we are typically together most of the day until after midnight building community and discussing the events and messages from the day. It's just different doing this virtually. It's hard to do this and keep up with everyday life of work and other extracurricular activities.
After last night it was discovered that we have limitations to this format.
As a WSYM we want to build a community remotely by having fun while watching the same content and spiritually maturing with the keynote addresses.
PLEASE NOTE: THINGS WILL CHANGE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
1. Please join in the zoom meeting and chat along with us or watch it then connect in.

I know there are some things that we can’t do this season that we are all missing! But here’s something to bring a little fun and encouragement your way: Jeff Walling, a youth speaker you probably all know, is hosting a one-hour online youth rally TONIGHT @8pm Central.
It's free... and they are giving away some cool prizes including a couple of pairs of wireless earpods! Also, you’ll get to hear some great young students give words of encouragement along with folks like Eric Wilson, Taylor Walling as well as Jeff Walling.
You have to register and be on the Zoom call to win anything in the drawing. Registration is free here: Next Gen Voices Night Registration.
Get on with ZOOM that night with this meeting ID: 911-1226-4960 or better, just copy this link into your calendar and click to join: https://pepperdine.zoom.us/j/91112264960
I hope you’ll join with teens from all over the country at the “Next Gen Voices Night” on Wednesday, TONIGHT!
It should be fun and uplifting... and we all need a little bit of that!
WSYM Summer Update (unofficial)
As you are aware all the summer plans are tenitive. The word is Governor Hutchinson is schedule to give direction about ‘Camps and Teams’ on May 20th. We hope this will help clarify the information needed to solidify our summer camp plans.
As of right now:

On another note: our seniors have officially graduated. In the coming days a website will be posted for you to send a message of congratulations to our Seniors.
