Dear parents,
We’re continuing our three-lesson study on sharing Jesus with others. The first lesson focused on why we share Jesus with others and what God’s Word has to say about it. This week’s lesson focused on living like a follower of Jesus. We talked about God’s desire for us to lead lives that imitate and reflect Christ, and how this is one of the most powerful ways to share Jesus with friends and point friends to Jesus. As you go throughout the week, help reinforce this teaching in your teenager’s life by asking the following questions as you have the opportunity:
Have a blessed week! Dear parents,
We’ve launched a new three-lesson study on sharing Jesus with others. It’s a chance for us to help our students understand the basics of evangelism, and to discuss ways they can help others understand the amazing things that God is doing in their lives. The first lesson focused on why we share Jesus with others and what God’s Word says about it. Students learned that God calls them to share Christ with others and that we must first learn how to follow before we can lead. They also discussed how they are never alone when they share Christ with someone and that sharing Christ won’t always be easy, but that’s OK. As you go throughout the week, help reinforce this teaching in your teenager’s life by asking the following questions as you have the opportunity:
Have a great week! Dear parents,
We have ended our three-lesson study on “So What?” where we looked at some core passages of discipleship in the New Testament. It’s been a great source of conversation for our students to understand some essential things Jesus taught. This last lesson focused on Jesus’ promise that he is coming back for us and that he would give us the gift of the Holy Spirit living within us to continue and finish the mission he gave us in the Great Commission. As you go throughout the week, help reinforce this teaching in your teenager’s life by asking the following questions as you have the opportunity:
Have a great week! Dear parents,
Our group has started a three-lesson series called “So What?” which takes a look at some core passages in the New Testament. What do the truths of these passages mean for followers of Jesus Christ? In the first lesson we looked at the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20, and the mission Jesus calls all disciples to. We discussed the importance of making disciples, teaching people what it means to follow Christ, and relying on God’s strength as we go. As you go throughout the week, take this lesson to the next level at home. Here are a few questions you might want to ask:
If we can help support you and your family in any way, please let us know. Have a blessed week! Dear parents,
This is the last week of our amazing four-lesson study on the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5–7. We’ve taken a deeper look into four issues that are common for humanity past, present, and future. In this final lesson our students discussed the Lord’s Prayer. In this example of prayer, Jesus shows us how to pray and what we are to pray for. We challenged our teenagers to reflect on the themes of the Lord’s Prayer. We also encouraged them to reflect on their prayer habits and see what they can learn from Jesus about how to pray. As you go throughout the week, help reinforce this teaching in your teenager’s life by asking these kinds of questions as you have the opportunity:
